Krekavica 2 Wreck

This wrecksite (MN11-AH) is a slightly disturbed mound that has scattered deposits of amphoras, fragments, and partially buried amphoras. The site appears to be largely buried in soft sediment. Although most of the ceramic material is broken and difficult to identify from the video, two amphoras were identifiable, both Rhodian. Their forms suggest a date in the 1st-2nd century CE. Another small amphora was also noted; however, growth prevents identification of the neck/rim and it is unclear how the bottom section is formed.
